Does anyone have a story (or stories) about artists that were completely unhappy
with their cover art when their album was released ?

    Dj Sheep did an interview with Syl Johnson 2 or 3 years ago and he told him about one of his Hi Records album covers he hated . He referred to it as the f**k album.

    Jimi Hendrix hated the naked lady cover for Electric Ladyland.

    He also disliked the cover for Axis.

    Luis Gasca hated this cover which was basically a joke about his height. He also hated the totally gratuitous use of pineapples. I sympathise - it is an abhorrent cover



    I read that John Patton almost left blue note in a row over this cover which he objected to on account of his then increasingly strong muslim beliefs


    He'd obviously come a long way since Fat Judy

    Snowboy wasn't happy with the "Pit Bull Latin Jazz" title.

    I've not seen the cover. Nor will I ever, touch wood. :ayo:
