nike air pegasus 83/30 just made the list.

I rocked the OG Pegasus back in '84. Cream with maroon swoosh. Worn with sand jumbo-cord trousers and a sheepskin, probably an adidas Lendl polo or Thai-copy Lacoste in the appropriate colourway, bought straight off a scouser with a passport and a binliner full of Bangkok's finest market dash.

I didn't care back then, nor do I now.

    a sheepskin

I had a beautiful one that got packed and moved by a former roommate who would not own up to it. I really need a new one, have been looking for years - including online - but as with sneakers, size an issue.

I gave that sheepie to a friend BITD but did cop a great one years later from a vintage shop here in N*ttingham. It was like, the sheepie Starsky would have rocked when it were too cold for his cardie. ??10.

The wife hated it and it was banished to charity rapido. Said it made me look like a tramp.

"Tramp is a look." fell on deaf ears.

  • my first post ever in this thread; just copped.

hatt all you want but the Stabs remain the most comfortable shoe I've ever worn.

  • I like them aesthetically but they look like they're curling already

Not to throw shade on man's sunbed, but they look fake.

lol don't worry about me. I have like 6 pairs of Stabs; insofar as this extremely limited corner of the shoe world goes, I know a fake when I see one.

that said, I wouldn't be mad if they were fake given what I paid!

definitely a comfortable shoe, particularly if you have flat and or wide feet

    Tried on these

    and these

    but eventually left with these

    and some big E Levi's 505s.

On the way down i found a bunch of unplayed disco 12s in Oxfam, i gave the guy in the shop a 52nd Street 12" and a Bobbi Humphrey 12" with nice dubs and he gave me discount on my purchases.

The Swoosh(tm) is huge on the upper...reminds me a bit of those black Puma's with the big logo near the toe. The rest of this shoe is fine, though.

wasn't there a 'son of glove' that replaced teh swoosh with script? or was that just on that swap meet tip?

They did release a couple cheaper models of the Flight 98's, including the Son of Glove, shortly after the initial release.

So, I'm not a big Nike guy, but some of these knit joints are sick. It's an interesting direction over the same boring uppers we've seen year over year. Looks like I'll be copping.

Is it THAT particular colourway, or all of them in general? I'm not really seeing it.

nike half-cabs are usually cut long and thin. golf shoes do this. i see his point in a small sense of form and maybe fit, but that's about it.
