When this list is done. I'd love to see some of your (No one person in particular) Top 10 "Soul Strut Related Records".

    1 Harlem River Drive
    2 Lyman Woodard
3 Kendricks: Got a Date With the Rain
    4 shuggie
    5 S.O.U.L
    6 Leroy Hutson Hutson
    7 Bohannon Stop and Go
    8 Bill Withers Still Bill
9 Syl Johnson Is It Because I'm Black
10 Donald Byrd Places and Spaces

BTW I think 98% of the material on the list so far is exceptional in so many different ways. This exercise got me to revisit a lot of music that got filed BITD and has been collecting dust in recent yrs (I hadn't listened to Black Moon in a minute...)

#100 on the list is Jr. and His Soulettes - Psychodelic Sounds

Like EOU it was discovered by a strutter, it's innocence, amateurness adds to the charm, it has often been talked about here.

To me, JAHS story, music, originality is far greater than EOU's.

    Yet 100v4.

Which is what makes lists so fun I guess.

Bought the reissue of EOU. Occasionally return to it for Smiling Faces. Interesting record but musically utterly forgettable.
