    I'm so glad I bought this cd(sampler) at a QSO gig. Holds 7 big original latin tunes, handpicked by the man Will Holland / Quantic. Would it change a lot having tracklisting? The originals probably are super hard to find, unless you're living in San Juan, Puerto Rico..

    You knew Mofongo is a sort of Puerto Rican dish? Google told me..

    mmmmmmmmmmm Mofungo...hadnt had it in ages...there used to be Puerto Rican restaurant in Fort Worth, would eat it on the regular, but no, no Puerto Rican restaurants in Memphis.

    Mofongo is so good warm and fresh. And so bad out of the fridge.

    in return, some elusive eastern-turkish-meets-european-jazz-melange by h??sn?? ozkartal. hope, you like it. little story about it: first heard it on jazzman's radioshow, then found a turkish ebay seller who happened to have this record. he put it on auction and cleverly added "played by THE jazzman, gerald short" in the describtion - the record went sky high. one year later the same record appeared on gemm: vg+, 20 $ and in new york (i'm in germany). i still wonder how it got there.

    Great! I know a couple in addition:

    9) Conjunto Tropical - Descarga Tropical from an LP called Anorada Cuba Festival Folklorico. Label is just AC (Anorada Cuba). Cuban record out of Miami.

    16) Conjunto La Revuelta - Federico from the album Salsa y Protesta on Disco Revolucion. Private label from Puerto Rico. The record was apparently banned by FBI or somesuch for explicit anti-US sentiments.

    just a word to say a huge thank you for dropping the track listing of mofongo para el alma mix.
    Since i own this cd, i'm looking for id...and once a year or two I try in a desperate way a - track listing + mofongo + mix- on google page... and that is my lucky day ! god bless -soul strut community-
