    JJ Cale was great, may he rest in peace.
    His records have a great low key soulfullness to them. For anyone who has only heard the bombastic covers of his songs by the likes of Eric Clapton and Lynyrd Skyynrd they have a treat in store if they hear the far superior originals.

    Ah man this is sad news, he couldn't have been super old. Few could write a classic 2-3 minute song the way JJ Cale could. One of my early influences as a teen.
