I actually picked these records up in June, but I've just been too busy listening to post pics. The records are organized on our pussy mantle for visual effect Nothing too crazy but filled in some omissions in the collection and landed copies of some of my favorite records on vinyl. My stepfather gave me his record collection, 16 boxes of LPs and a 4x4 expedit to store them in (pictured on the right below). I grew up with this collection in the house and it had a big influence on me. I'm pretty sure I now collect records because of him.
One of the highlights was getting the Waikiki Surf Battle record that is band The Vaqueros played on.
Walked in to The Attic in Millvale and copped Headless Heroes and Lou C out of a just in pile a few days ago.
Walked into a heavily traveled thrift store today on the way home from work and pulled this out of a box of garbage polka records. The record is nice but the cover has seen better days for sure.
I've been spending the summer cleaning what I have and reorganizing. I got a bunch of stuff last month but this is really all that mattered. A Love Supreme Mono for $1.99 at Savers
