Fuuuuuuck I hate that I don't know how to feel about this.
1. Expedia took 3 minutes to basically tell people to wake the fuck up and accept their gay kids. That's amazing. It wasn't even a fucking ad... except Dad had to travel across the country.
2. Expedia is co-opting a huge movement/change in societal values. They are doing so with profit as their motive, not equality. This commercial would not have been made if they didn't think it was going to further their brand.
I think it's great and lame at the same time. Message was incredibly heartwarming and well delivered. Heart went wah wah when the logo showed up.
Overall... It got me to type up all this and think about it for 10 minutes. So it has done it's job!
