wouldn't say it's my favorite (because it's hard to fuck with the original) but this is a nice version:

Was just listening to this Jack McDuff album the other night. I like the schmoove intro on this one.

Yeah, one of the songs on the Cali-Tex reissue which was reportedly found in the basement of an old motorcycle gang hideout.

These are great, but it's Bill Withers's OG all day!

These guys take it a little outside the box with some crunchy synth, which I like alot. Gonna find this Lp out and give it a spin.

Back in the 90s I made a 90min tape of ANSWYG.
Mostly obvious sides like Harlem Underground and Grover Washington, Roland Kirk and Nancy Wilson.

Thanks for the Calypso Kings, Crowns of Glory and Jay Mitchell versions. I enjoyed.

At the end of the day Bill Withers has the best version.

This version always sounds suspiciously like the Eddy Senay version with singing added:

Yes Butcher, I think most agree Bill Withers is unequaled. I guess I thought it was implied that I meant the best version other than the original, but I should have said best cover instead.
