I was wondering about that as well. And that Clint Eastwood joint about the Curve w/ Timberlake?

And what about The Fan w/ Dinero and Snipes...ive never seen the whole shit.

AND.......what about The Bronx Is Burning?

Good call on the Pryor/Billy Dee/James Earl Jones joint. I saw it in its entirety this year on Netflix. Old school late night HBO shit.

Shit....what about that Charlie Sheen joint about the Black Sox scandal?

Don't know much about baseball or films about baseball, not sure if this even counts, but I remember my parents renting this for me one time when I was a kid.

Me and my friend got juiced off it and spent ages throwing each other a ball to fake massive leaps to catch the winning point (that's right, right?). That and having my dad pitch a baseball directly into my eye while on holiday in America is the full extent of my ball playing career.

    Cool story, bro.

Great cast (Deniro, Snipes, Leguizamo, Del Toro).

    Great cameos (Bonds).

Great characters (Juan Primo, El Once).

    Beautiful scenery (SF, PacBell park).

    Great director (Tony Scott RIP).

    Kinda shitty movie.

A bunch I have not seen. Added a few to the queue.

Sugar hasn't been mentioned and is worth watching.

^^^ Was on TV the other day and I learned it was directed by Daniel Stern; I guess I didn't know he auteur'd like dat. I think that main character of the movie went on to marry the house DJ Colette but don't quote me on that.

Can I be corny and go with Field of Dreams? That bit of Golden Era-Costner was soldered into my young mind.

Cosign on Moneyball - love the rhythm of the movie and the relative workplace setting is comforting for whatever reason.

Also, that one movie where a 13-year-old becomes manager of the Twins? Wasn't bad.

    Strike 3 is too much.
    And his partner eating.

But my favourite part is "Hey! It's Enrico Polazzo!"

Thanks for the heads up on Bad News Bears. Hadn't seen it.

    Saw 42 the other day.
I like baseball movies and I like Hollywood bios, so I liked it.
People who don't like Hollywood cliches meant to make you emotional should keep away.
The story is already pretty amazing and inspirational, they didn't need to go to the cliches, but they did.
