hey bassie, have you ever read the elmore leonard novel "get shorty"? the main villain has a marvin gaye obsession and he has several awesome digressions where he gets into some really perceptive and poetic shit about marvin. i may re-buy that book just to read those portions.
So I finished it before I even got near a beach lol and I spend more time in the water than on the sand when I get near an ocean anyway. It was totally entertaining and yes, a perfect vacation book. Not as much Gaye or Gaye insight as I was expecting, but no big deal. Thank You for the tip!
