    Possibly the best thing ever on Soulstrut - it was amazing watching this blow up across the internet and the Smithsonian purchase is an extraordinary outcome.

    Thank you. I didn't notice this on my phone's screen.
    So there I am on page 4 of the original thread being the killjoy. I haven't moved much in my opinion since then. But there's always going to be the odd one out, isn't there.

    finally got around to reading the original thread. Looks like those were some heady days!

    congrats on what seems like the perfect outcome to an amazing story.

    this is a lot like the story of Vivian Maier, where someone bought her photos from a storage unit without knowing what they were, and it turned out to be an incredible body of work of Chicago street photography:
