    The Patriots did.

  • Still broken up over my Seahawks losing last week to watch either game today. :(

As a life long Ravens hater (Steelers fan related), I can't help but be happy for them. They have really played the cinderella card well.

That being said. GO NINERS !

  • the Ray Lewis thing is tiresome already, just like the BS he continually spews.........If the Ravens win out I'll be glad for Ed Reed

Ray is pushing the outer limits of middle America's tolerance for "God-is-on-my side" bs. I predict that if we win the Super Bowl, Ray will attempt to hold a Billy Graham style revival in the Super Dome post game.

That said, let's talk about our much maligned (by me too) defense who just held one of the finest offenses to ever walk the earth to 13 points yesterday. Incredible. Pollard is a Patriot killer. I hate this new defenseless player rule. There is no where to hit a player any more. The Pitta hit was also helmet to helmet but started at the shoulders, like a great tackler ought to. Of course, we didnt get that call and the call on Ray was a travesty.

The whole key to next week is protecting Flacco. If he gets time like he has so far, it's going to be a massacre. Niners are hella soft and Kaepernick is about to wake up from his dream. Ravens 31 Niners 16.

It was tiresome last week. This week, it's insufferable.

As a Socialist you're going to hate Football.

There is only one ball and most of the players never even get to touch it. Some players get paid 10's of millions a year while others have to get by on a measly $400K. The better you perform the more points you get and at the end of the game half the players are deemed "Losers". There are no government programs in place to help these "Losers".

The teams are all owned by 1%'ers and if their team wins, they stand to get even richer. The closest football has ever gotten to Marxism is in the classic movie Horsefeathers.

That, and the Ravens are gonna take a beating in 2 weeks from those Capitalist, gold digging 49ers!

Hmm, compared to sports leagues in the rest of the world, American sports are as socialist as it gets - there's no penalty for losing, in fact the worst team in the NFL is rewarded with the number one draft pick. And there's a salary cap.

If the NFL played by the capitalist rules that the rest of the world uses, that last placed team would be replaced by another team from a lower league. There is not, as yet, a salary cap, or a limit on the price of players... which gives you ??80 million price tags on top players.

So as a socialist, the NFL is actually his best bet if he's going to follow any professional sport.

I am starting to revise now that I realized you guys beat Seattle, Packers, Atlanta and Patriots. That said if Niners get to Flacco they will win. If not I think they are going to get punished.

Johnny should we put down a friendly wager? I'll take the points all day BTW.

The Niners are far from "hella soft," but I doubt Kaepernick is ready for that Ravens D.

God, I hope the Ravens fucking lose, though. Fuckin' fucks.

  • You know what the Ravens' jerseys need? More purple.

NFL is structured like a socialist enclave. They share revenue. That means the rich teams subisidize the poor teams. It's Marx's favorite game.

I love that dudes are so happy to root for the team with the suspected murderer and the wife beater as their leaders because they beat the team that...has been winning too much and people don't like that? Oh, wait, no, they had a camera where they weren't supposed to. My bad???go on taking your inspirational words of wisdom from OJ Simpson.

Boo hoo, nobody likes your asshole-led Patriots team. Your GM should refuse to pay your most likable player what he's worth as retaliation.

Can't wait to watch Ray Lewis and Michael Crabtree in their cameo roles in "The Longest Yard II"

I predict that the team that exhibits the basics of socialism; everyone working together for the common good, wins today.

The team that goes for the basics of capitalism; each person for themselves - padding those stats and positioning for contract negotiations, loses.

    b/w
The team runs a college style offense is going to get hurt.
