    I won't lie - I can't say I like everybody on the list, but they all seem influential enough in their fields.

    I always knew that once the HOF got to the 70s, no two people could agree on who gets nominated/elected.

    SHOULD GET IN (by any thinking persons standards)

    WILL GET IN (based on history of idiocy in this process)

    If Joan Jett & The Blackhearts get in does that mean The Runaways get blocked out or does this grease their chances.

    Joan Jett had hit records and rock critic appeal. The Runaways had neither.

    Thus - the Runaways will be on the outside looking in for a long time.

    Finally, Deep Purple gets nominated. Probably the most glaring omission for the last 10 years or so.
