    back to the topic: i think 90's is out too. i think its early 00's now. neptunes/timbo rivival, all that.

    I agree. The expiration date (so to speak) for new releases in speeding up. Furthermore, companies will manufacture flimsy products and soon there after stop servicing them with parts.

    New Wave was popular in the northeast during the 80's, I think more so in metropolitan areas. Sometimes referred to as post-punk, or synth-pop.
