Horrible Movies w/ Great Soundtracks

So my buddy downloaded some 20 or so of the worst movies imaginable. We decided to watch this one called "Chopping Mall" made in the 80's about these futuristic mall security-guard robots that go on a killing spree. Needless to say the movie made no sense but I couldn't get over how awesome the soundtrack was. It was this kinda kitch 80's electro-funk but it has some real hard synth basslines other cool synth effects.
Are there any movies where you have felt the same way? Depending on who you ask, Purple Rain may qualify...

A truly awful porn movie with truly awesome footage of Bernard purdie playing and signing.
The music, in a good soundtrack, should be integral to the scene, so one is inseparable from the other.
The Shower scene in Psycho is a good example. Good Bad and The Ugly, another.
Of course some music is just great and transcends the horrible movie it was written for.
Or more often, cheap movies use pre-made soundtracks; libraries. Which we all know are awesome.
Anyway, first thing that came to my mind was some episodes of Man From UNCLE* I watched a few years ago.
Awesome soundtrack, cheesy (great) show.
I'm not talking about the famous theme, but the incidental music in the show.
One episode had both Leonard Nimoy and William Shatner, before they made it big in Star Trek.
Might I add this, which I would karate chop my grandma for the 45 to:
I gotta say, I'm reading about this movie (can't see TEH TUBEZ at work) and all I can think about now is finding and watching this fillum.
Superfly matches up.
Trouble Man matches up.
Hey Sirus,
I have to respectfully disagree here. Max Julien is one of the worst actors to ever inhabit earth. "The Mack" movie is :talib:, while the soundtrack is fantastic.
Peace,

I think The Mack is saved by the footage of the real pimps in the barbershop and the Players ball scenes. If you get the chance to watch the special features on the DVD i recommend it as the backstory to the movie is pretty interesting.
I think Across 110th St does too.
Anybody seen Youngblood? I've heard that's a good movie.
'touch me' from Lialeh was used in Smoking Aces, which was horrible but ALSO had a ripping sdtk
OK gotta see it, if it even comes close to the soundtrack it's gotta be oscar callibre.
Anyone seen Savage or Coffy?
"matches up" implies some sort of equality.
Superfly had one of the best soundtracks ever, probably one of the best albums ever.
you gonna call Superfly one of the best *movies* ever?
YES!
Soundtrack was dope on the strength of the Liks' Coast II Coast, one of the best rap songs ever.
Never cared for the movie.
*ducks and runs*
The guy on the left stole my wallet once.
Motherless Child by GFK is off the chains
The first movie had a decent soundtrack from what I recall.
