hard to pick the best...but these are my favorites

unfortunately I do not own a copy of this...but this is badass, gotta be one of the greatest

    may I suggest
    /object

as far as new stuff goes

I have to pick this as well as its kind of important to me in my brief occupation as a musician...its early 90s stuff, heard it for the first time when I started to fuck around with the guitar, take acid and play music with people and this track is pretty much what made me wanna record music...long story short...dude from this band ended up producing one our records. Love this...

Need all the psych albums on this label.

Re-working of a song off the Gathering Of Promises album

This album is more heavy progressive with the exception of this song

I know not enough to say GOAT, but something by the 13th floor elevators?
Splash 1 is a track I go back to over and over again - but I think the first 2 albums are solid as.

It would seem that there are several interpretations of what is considered "psych", and I'm definitely not an expert in the genre that's for sure.

That said, my 1st choice would be "Silver Bird" by Hooterville Trolley (which another strutter posted), followed very closely by "There's No Blood in Bone" by Poppy Family. Such an amazing track. I would also include "The Rose" by 50 Foot Hose, and "You've Come This Way Before" by Nancy Priddy on the folk-psych side of things to complement Poppy Family.

    Kindly,
    parallax

There is no such thing as greatest man. It's all subjective.
