what`s the worst recommendation you`ve had??

ever bought a record on a recommendation from a friend and thought the record was just pure unfiltered shit on a slab??two i can think of.. domino - ghetto jam dj shadow - you can`t go home again

    A dude at WFMU last year tried to hype me up on this Pharoah Sanders record with a "latin" feel. He wanted something like $30 for it. When I asked if I could check it out with my portable, I got this look from him like, "OK - you got me." Pfff...weak.

    exactly.only west coast i ever liked was the east coast sounding shit like pharcyde,liks etc..
