I picked up a test pressing for a quarter the other day. It turned out to be some big band jazz with one decent cut. It's not very important, but it'd be nice to know what it is. The most likely clue is on the first track, where someone announces, "Occasionally we like to program something that has a bit more substance to it than some of the other music..." and then the band launches into a rendition of "Happy Birthday." Do any ???[/b]

First name that came to mind is Stan Kenton.

I wouldn't be surprised, as there were other a few other Stan Kenton records in the same box.
