Rainy Day Songs/ Songs About Rain

If it rains tomorrow it will be one straight week of rain in NYC. All I want to do is listen to some mellow joints in between bong hits and naps. I give to you Gen Orange "Thunderstorm" the dude Otis Fodder, king of found songs, put the world up on this in his 365 Day Project website, which consisted of a new mp3, every day for 365 days. The criteria for submissions were weird records or casettes from unknown musicians, whether because they were good or so bad they were good. This Gen Orange joint is from a Vanity label 45, and even though she might be tone deaf, and to some of you the song might suck, I like it. This is some of the stuff I'm into, weird private joints no one listens to or appreciates, its one of the reasons why I dig. Hope you enjoy and please post your favourite joints to listen to in the rain or that are about rain.

    I already mentioned this song in the putting out thread, but the Brian Eno remix of Massive Attack's "Protection" has some nice rain effects. The video is very rainy-day also, for those Michel Gondry fans.
