Records You Regret Letting Go...

Right now, I am begrudgingly reminiscing about a 45 that I traded to get a bunch of essential stuff since I'm a lil' dude. I'd dig up raer funk and soul 45s and send them to a certain record spot in my city for credit.

My current regret is "I Care About Detroit" by Smokey Robinson and the Miracles. The one-sided radio-only single is only available to me now on CD and as I grow older, I love my city more and I wish I had the 45 again to showcase in my home.

I bought the 45 for a dollar 3 years. I see it goes for much more everywhere else.

Here's the song:

*sigh* Anyone else have stories like this?

I'm not the smartest... what's PMA?

I wish I did have my game nice enough to swear I scoop records back up 50-100 times the price I originally got it. I'm young in the game... plus I'm trying to build a studio. Oh man...

not rare by any means, but the eddie hazel record.

    '98.

    straped for cash.

    got about $50 for it.

but ended up that the guy who won was an older man who was trying to track this down for years because him and his wife's wedding anniversary was coming up and this used to be their joint back when, but his got lost in the shuffle many moons ago. he was extremely grateful.

    i miss this shit though.

  • Way too many. These 2 mainly.
