I recently puchased an Apple with a superdrive. Can anyone recommend a third-party software (through versiontracker.com) for copying DVDs? and I am not one.

    toast 7.01 + mac the ripper + dvd2onex

Most dvds will be copy protected, so you can't just do a straight copy in toast. Also dvd2onex is only needed if the dvd you're trying to copy is dual layer. If so, dvd2onex will shrink the file to fit on a single layer 4.7gb dvd. Here's a guide on the ripping/burning process.

Thanks Aser! I'm gonna give this a shot as I back-up City of God.
