    charles mingus-black saint and sinner lady (mono og impulse!) - this was marked down and being sold "as is" cause it had some scratches and dirt on it, but when i put it on, the deep grooves and loud recording destroyed any noise that was in the background. sweet.

    It is a hardcore band from CA called Yaphet Kotto that record was my SHIT in tenth grade when it came out. I also did a compilation tape with them on it before I heard them because I heard some band was called Yaphet Kotto and all I would do on Friday nights before I could drive was watch Homicide. Yaphet Kotto, collectively, owes me about thirty dollars

    Had a great vacation up in Maine. Walking along the seashore near marginal way, in a thick fog with the sunshine felt very surreal. It was gorgeous, and i even caught a gaggle of seagull babys, hotfootin' it all up and down the shore. Now why haven't I ever seen baby seagulls until now?

    It's a DJ Shadow 12" on Mo waX from 1997. It has a few different mixes of tracks from Endtroducing, but of note is the Cut Chemist remix of The Number song which blows the original version out of the water.
