This song appeals to my inner black man. I'm allowed to say that because I am not only aware of my inner black man, I embrace him. And when he feels my tender touch he says "extra cheeeese." Trap Or Die 12"Young Jeezy

I'm with Faux, but to entice the purchase...

    Trap Or Die

And yes, the rest of it is straight fire from start to finish.

    Best album of the year?!

Actually, let me modify my recommendation. Get the mixtape because Slick Pulla's verse has been excised from the album version, although it will ring in my ears for eternity:

Real street ni99as, all the ghetto hoes on our jock
When I hit the strip, all my troops listen while I talk
This what I tell 'em: Take these yams li'l man,
break it down, get back, see a couple grams"
And don't talk to square ni99as, you know, spongebobs
Kanye West ni99as, talking through the wire dawg
Watch for goonies when you got it, ni99as wanna rob
And pull a staff and quarterback 'em like Brett Favre

three hot tracks and two of them are on that 12". however it's worth getting the whole album just to hear the mannie fresh intro to "and then what". why the fuck isn't that on the 12" version?

also cheers to the 12" of the go crazy remix with jay z but without fat joe.

The Jezzy record is hot. But it is also cheesy, such is the nature of cartoonish raps over incredibly melodramatic beats.

that kind of surprised me-- i'm not a fan of fat joe but the verse they left off is by far the best i've ever heard him do. (hmmm, wonder who's writing for him these days?)

plus that new intro on the 12" about "this is the official anthem" is corny as fuck.

  • definitely one of the best Jay Z verses in many years though.

No, no... the one on this board is the "real" Bob Bannister.
