Got a Velvet Underground Andy Warhol with the banana still intact. Condition otherwise is iffy... is it worth anything
It was 4 years ago, but I got over $200 (eBay) for a VG copy with the banana intact - cover had light wear, record was pretty rough. Sold another one that was VG+ mono OG with sticker peeled for over $100, so at least back then people were willing to spend good $$$ for lesser grade copies. There are like 3 or 4 back cover variations, too, some with a sticker covering the "torso" in the photo (?), some with part of the picture upside-down - the usual collectible LP bullshit.
I got that at a store on the ride home. $2....Canadian (which is almost on par with your sky-diving piece of shit currency that I happen to accept as payment).
I've always had a love affair with it since sneaking off with friends as 6 year old kids and riding 'til the end of the lines. I don't feel that far removed from those times 28 years later. Just now it's records instead of Japanese models.
You got some nice ones for free there. Mostly "traditional" stuff though. Amar the full LP has some good tunes, I wonder if they're on the EP (Bairaag's best tune is not on EP ) Some of the music on Baiju Bawra sounds like a Kungfu flick to me. Have fun widdem! all three of those albums need to be in your crates. the zamot and lebron are both killer, the zamot has a nice cover of soul makossa, while the mainieri kills it in a psych/rock/jazz vein.

They're called The Many Faces Of Nine, which is a great name, but temptation got the best of me. I saw "Evil Ways", had hope, but instead got crap. Only a 50 cent waste, but I could've bought some gum or something.
