    I found a bag of records on the way to work today. A bunch of not-so-exciting LPs (ie. Bee Gees Live, a Nina Hagen EP, Kraftwerk Man Machine, H Alpert Rise 12") and around 30 Bollywood 45s.

    Met up with an elderly Guyanese gentleman on the bus who told me I should come by and check his West Indian funk and soul 45's, and (DAMN!)3 hours later and $450 poorer I've got a stack of 56 45's, a Charlie PArker 10 inch on Savoy, a 1979 Reggae soul lp of Doreen Shaffers, and Chaka Khan's LP with "I Know You, I Live You" whcih I'd been looking for....and he had doubles/triples of 75% of the 45's which was almost all late 60's early 70's.











    Quite possibly one fo the best things ever to come out of Byron Lee's stable. Pure soul fire over a killer ska arrangement (Lee's Frankenstein tack below is a boomshot as well). Got 2 other early Busters 45's with the collection. Listen for yourself.
