Worked for a while as a writer for Discovery, History, NOVA... A while back there was a Wild Kingdom special on hyenas. Got my hands on some of the raw footage that wasn't suitable for television. At one point, the hyenas start attacking a dying wildebeast. They bring the swarm from behind, nipping at its undercarriage, tearing off pieces of skin. After about 30 seconds of this, the wildebeast start to stagger. A hyena goes for another nip, and suddenly the wildebeast's entrials drop all over the other hyenas underneath it, on some Nickelodeon "You Can't Do That On Television" type-shit. An orgy of blood and matted fur as the hyenas tear the rest of the carcass apart...
