dawg. tickets were $38 for a music magazine party @ webster hall... what kinda crowd do you expect.
that crowd I guess... but being that I am in LA, and have never been to said venue, and did not see said ticket prices and being that its PE, my expectations of their concert was different than the pictures posted.
Or the worst was when Lady Sov's DJ was playing all that crazy shit while she was backstage and then Grandmaster Caz and all them Zulu dudes came up to me at the OTHER DJ setup while I was just chilling and they were like "What the fuck you playing, dog?"
The crowd looked like I thought it would look given the line up:
Main Stage:
Public Enemy, Death Cab for Cutie, LCD Soundsystem, J. Mascis, DMC, Drive-By Truckers, and Lady Sovereign, plus DJ sets from Afrika Bambaataa, Diplo, DFA, DMC, and the Rub.
2nd Room:
The Living Things and Nightmare of You, Guest DJs Tommie Sunshine, Ultragrrrl, and the Husky Gentleman
Spinning at Webster Hall was a huge look and I had a great time last night.
Check out these insane videos of this band downstairs - their "drummer" was playing a deep freeze, stove, washer and dryer.

It should also be said that it was a SPIN party and most of the bill was "rock" acts.
but PE was headlining. and they killed shit hard.
LCD Soundsystem was crazy dope too.
Lady Sov was actually better than I thought she would be...
DMC needs to chill, he's fucking up the legacy...
If you know you have no voice, why are you still trying to rap and shit...
and dude was trying to SING too!!!!
shit sounded like really bad karaoke....
i had a good time, PE were really nice, but yeah...
