thought i'd resurrect this post. Picked up this yesterday from the library:
absolutely crazy. Apperently the only recording equipment used was a digital recorder. All the performances were recorded in someone's house - live. Pharoah is crazy good.
my ear drums are shattered... but i'm somehow able to make face melt by listning to...
G Unit - 300 shots Black Rob - You know what call me a queer-0 but i still think that "Outta Control" is a dumb stupid stupid beat that makes face melt
Guzzo, your face didn't look too melted in that pic. Typewriter is a good look, though - seriously.
I finally got around to making a file of my current face-melter...this one is especially cool to me, because it's one of those albums I bought years ago and didn't like, but held onto until my own listening abilities progressed, and a post on here a week or so reminded me about it, I dug it out, and voila: goodbye face. Gene McDaniels on this track is but Harold Land and Bobby Hutcherson hold up the intensity on their end as well:
Guzzo, I like the 2x4 table--looks exactly like my "workshop/DJ station". PS, why do you have a machete next to you level on the pegboard? Do they get they same , "oh shit, I need my machete and/or level!" type of use? and hence why you have them easily accessible on your pegboard?
Oh, Conscious Daughters, We Roll Deep is the motherfuggin DOO DOO...workin on yousend it right now...
