    For those concerned about money, p*yp*l, etc.
    I transferred $16,000 into the Vanguard bank account 3 days ago (it posted, no porblems), and I'll transfer the rest when a few more payments get in.

    We need to have a talk about FEES (later).
    We're working on the backend trying to organize everything.
    A bunch of thoughtful people communicating.
    Trying to make the best for everyone (compromise).


    Thank you for all the great notes in the payments, PMs, eMails, etc.

    This is beautiful man, really beautiful.

    I feel closer to all those on the board who participated.

    It shows that even if the pull-yourself-up-by-your-boot-straps each-man-for-himself conservatives are making the laws and choosing where tax dollars are mis-spent it cannot destroy love, caring, and the human spirit. They can be greedy war-mongering satanic monsters if they choose but we don't have to be.

    This will hopefully dispute any notions of a generation of apathy.

    I wish I could say it more eloquently, but most people showed some real bloodletting type sacrifice throughout this effort.



    Whether it was raer, pieces extremely close their heart, offering up their own proffesional services, cheerleading and keeping up morale, organizing and keeping the wheels well oiled; it just seems like everyone on the board has had some sort of hand in this.



    I feel like a participated in much more than just some project. Do you know what I mean?

    It has seriously done my heart good to see every last shred of bullshit be put aside here for a much higher purpose. I love this place and am honored to have played a part.

    Over! It's not over! Was it over when the Germans bombed Pearl Harbor? Was it over when Bush bungled the war? Was it over when Soulstrut raised over $20,000 in a single week? Never! Toga. Toga. Toga. I mean set sail, set sail, set sail.

    Just a reminder that this disaster is going to be ongoing for hundreds of thousands in the comings months, maybe years. I hope that we will maintain our efforts to help our brothers and sisters from the Gulf heal and recover. Do we need a new goal of raising $5000 within the next two months dedicated to infrastructure rebuilding and musicians who lost everything. I know I am down.

    Big ups to all of you guys and gals for giving your time, money and hearts to this effort. Don't forget to go out and support all the benefit shows Strutters are putting on this weekend. I'll be at the Goodfoot Lounge in Portland Friday night. Strutters Longtallsimon and Rubbishvisual are scheduled to bomb it up as well.
