Interesting
stuff, but it brings me back to the same place as when I first learned
about the laws around sampling, and read stuff around Illegal Art,
Negativland, Evolution Control Committee etc. where they really pushed
for a total revamp of how copyright law and "transformative work"
function. Seems more urgent than ever, but the possibility for
politicians to do something against a big industry has totally withered
and died.
