Soil & "PIMP" Sessions "Lost In Tokyo"

Maybe some of you have been following Soil & "PIMP" Sessions, a "death jazz" band from Japan that was lauded by Gilles Peterson and toured Europe and the US a bit over a decade ago. Their new album is absolutely incredible so I wanted to share with the Strut.

It's out on CD in Japan but I'm hoping there'll be vinyl down the line.

    TA. Listening now (Todoroki).

Big fan of their music, videos, live performances. Pretty sure it was Aser who put me on to them back around either Pimp Master or Pimp of the Year dropped.

Thanks for the heads-up. I have about 100CD awaiting dispatch from Tokyo to London. I just added that one to the pile.

I have been following them since they first got mentioned on here.  Great band, the only downside personally is my ears get tired after 3-4 tunes.  Which is true of most really intense music I listen to, no fault of the Soilies specifically.  It's the same with Slayer.

But I do like intense music.  Just in small chunks.

The slower numbers on this set sound really nice, thanks for bringing it to my attention.
