J B Green - Time (Now Again version vs OG)

So I was super hyped with the Now Again comp Tickets For Doomsday, particularly because of the inclusion of the much sweated J B Green's Time (BRAINFREEZE YO!). But it's odd as the version they put on the comp doesn't sound the same as the 45. Is this a different album cut, or has somebody at Now Again decided to drown out the simple beauty of the original with some annoying overdub guitar work?
