Any of you guys collect QUADs, SACDs?

I know it's a niche market, but can't believe some of the prices on these things now. For instance this 1970's Tom Dowd Aretha Franklin Quad comp Rhino put out years ago. A lot of her multi reels went up in smoke in the 1978 Atlantic warehouse fire in NJ. Only stereo masters survived.

Quad tunes are only cool if you have the surround setup to listen to them on. Any crate digger classics vinyl in Quadio?

My mom had a quad amp when I was growing up, and to my knowledge we never owned a single quad recording. I'd be into seeing what it sounds like, but not at master collectro prices which seems to be the only option these days

I always saw this as a short lived fad that didn't catch on for whatever reason 3D cinema never outgrew the novelty status and usually even proved a failure as a gimmick to attract attention to some otherwise stale movie. I like loud, give it to me mono, I don't care.
