I'll be putting together another volume of the mix and haven't decided if I should do all Italian Soundtracks or another volume of US Soundtracks.  I'm leaning towards Italia!

  • My call would be Italian as I have come across so many giallo/police etc. soundtracks that LOOK awesome but end up lame or one-trackers, so I never delved deep even though some of the rewards are great.

I downloaded "Set It Off" a few days ago and I have been bumping it in the GTI, I meant to post back to say thanks for the mix yo! I haven't gotten all the way through it yet maybe about 6 or 7 tracks in but what I hear was dope and the mixes were tight.

Italia it is!  That was my initial inclination...I'll get to work as soon as school is out!

There may be some other mixes you may enjoy on rcwinkly.blogspot.com

  • Oh I didn't realize you did Zone for President too. I dug that one a lot.
I think I'm gonna get my shit together and put some of my mixes up so someone hears them aside from me.

dope as fudge yo! I must say Rich, Rob (62) and Jo (jorun) are some of the coolest fuckin cats I've met - I played a few shows with each of them back in the day here in Halifax (early 2000's-ish) and met up a few times at Café Mokka for some knowledge drops and its hella easy feeling like a little dude round those guys when they start talking records, I remember Rob teaching me how to "flare" scratch after a show I played at Triple Bypass and they never had issues teaching and showing people what they knew for the most part, didn't know which track a break came from, they'd let you know and would rarely question you on why your asking. the scene in Halifax back in the days when they were all here in the city was pretty amazing, loads of other dope MC's, DJ's and producers out here but Jorun is kinda running the show right now...

thanks again for the uploads yo, I just realized I bookmarked your site ages ago and didn't bother to ever check it (epic fail) - my bad

Always good to hear that those guys are down to earth.  Jorun continues to kill it and I'm curious about what's next for Rich & Rob.  Rich's last album was quite poppy and I haven't heard much from Rob in a while!
