Miles Ahead vs Born to be Blue (Miles vs Chet Baker movies)

Interesting both these movies come out at the same time. I saw both and would recommend them to anyone who likes jazz but overall they are great flicks and could appeal to almost anyone.
I think Cheadle did a really good job playing Miles and the movie had a loose non linear feel to it which is probably a reflection of the music. It was a cool flick but I probably won't watch it again or for a long time.
Born to be Blue is much more linear and has a better story arch in my opinion. The story takes ups and downs and feels like a journey. I got more attached to the characters and I think the way it was shot and put together helped. It's the winner for me.
