My goodness they're everywhere.

Nohelani Cypriano "Lihue" on the second one.

  • Correct me if I'm wrong, but I think the San Diego Home Grown comps and the Hawaiian Home Grown comps are two separate strains of local radio comp (both titled "Home Grown").
That Nohelani joint is Hawaiian Home Grown.
Most of the San Diego Home Grown volumes I've checked out are pretty unrewarding.

They're everywhere and terrible here in SD. At least I haven't found anything rewarding on them and stopped buying them pretty early in my digging career.

I would think some of the yacht rock aficionados here would have discovered the next Steely Dan on one of them by now.

There are Home Grown and similar comps from around the country. Most have something almost good on them.
