All the Buckwheat skits (Buh-Weet Sings, Who Shot Buckwheat?) are an all-time personal fav.

Musical performance?

The Blues Brothers Soul man?
Elvis Costello
For me personally, something thats so far down the radar of favs. The Specials Too Much Too Young.
George Harrison & Paul Simon?

That said. Not sure about this special... ehhhhhhhh

Edit: Much is cringe worthy. Abort. Abort!

That was the Eddie Murphy thing?? That was pretty sad. Glad Bill Murray kept it gold. Was it the only was to get Murphy on, was to give him a giant reach around?

Easy, nothing else even comes close:

I had one of my heartiest SNL laughs during a skit on French Fries/Freedom Fries:
"In a related story, in France, American cheese is now referred to as 'idiot cheese'."

  • Fear was good, but Lockers were better in season #1, episode #3. Wish I could find postable video for that performance.

  • the band - "the night they drove ol Dixie down"

they had found out that robbie robertson was shutting down the band in the green room just minutes before performing
