Haha....from what I've read about it, getting the disease isn't that easy (provided you take proper precautions) and beating the disease is simply a matter of staying alive long enough for your body to kick it...which can be quite a challenge.

Besides horseman number 1 is always around...he doesn't even count anymore.

so some infected are staying home apparently because they don't trust the doctors and so it's making it impossible to quarantine all the cases.

this is obviously a common thing; you see it when vaccination teams go to rural villages elsewhere in the world as well: suspicion of western medicine, mistrust of government, etc.

and you have to kinda understand where people are coming from in this case: you have these really severe government responses to this, and this from a gov/services that people know are unable to really do anything. so imagine, how are people going to want to identify themselves and be exposed to possible action? like what will happen? they feel sick and self report. so a gov agent comes by and sweeps them up to be taken to a hospital. so they are then placed in these wards with other sick/potentially sick people. did they have it? or will they just get it from being in the horrible conditions of this hospital? how could they not feel they are being sent to a death trap?? in fact, many in the 3rd world already think hospitals are death traps and avoid them on principle (and are not crazy for doing so).

I recognize "Gaza," but all that other stuff is new to me.

Has there been some sort of media blackout on those other topics?

I thought this thread would be about the classic 90s dance tune "Ebola AIDS" by Penny Penny:

    Jokes in PimlicoSquirrel's world:

A man walks into a bar.

His drinking problem is destroying his liver and tearing his family apart.

    Yo momma so fat

she should be concerned about developing type-2 diabetes, a potentially deadly disease.
