Opening up more Australian funk/jazz goodness

Been a bit busy digging for tunes and the stories of those that made them to post here recently. Wanted to share links to a couple of podcasts that reveal some tasty tunes and forgotten talent.
Ted White played sax in bebop groups and and big bands in the UK before he moved to Australia in the early 60s. In the early 70s he began playing experimental jazz with the likes of Bruce Clarke in Melbourne. Helping a mate test a new recording studio he brought together some of his favourite local players and created the Arena LP which featured, amongst others, the track 'The Long One'. Little Sammy sang at Mick Jaggers wedding, made movies with Brigitte Bardot and cut some slick funk in France in the 70s including numbers like Cuckoo and Come'n on Strong. He started out as a soul singer in Sydney though and only moved oversea cause he was never really understood in his hometown. Get his story here http://ab.co/1h3wuW3
Peter Cupples fronted Australian funk/soul band Stylus for five years before they signed with Motown and it sadly proved the end of the band.....when it shoulda been the start. This is the tale of how it went down and what he did next http://ab.co/T4GiV8
