Which Singer do you want to hear with Which Rhythm Section?

Stack's create your dream rhythm section post had me thinking...
The great rhythm sections are a combination of great musicians and great chemistry.
Sometimes the singer didn't match the rhythm section, or vice-a-versus.
Sometimes great singers never had the right rhythm section.
What if Aretha had stayed in Detroit and signed with Motown instead Columbia? Or gone to Chicago and signed with Chess?
I would have liked to hear what Jerry Ragovoy and the band that he used for Garnett Mimms with Aretha.
