I'm at wits end seeking a turntable to fit my needs ... I thought who better to turn to than the strut community.
I am looking for a portable, tube amped, 4 speed record player for UK and Europe current. There are a number off different models and makes out there but here's the thing: I want a Audio Line Out.
When I was in the USA, I found a great solution with a number of the Califone models which I believed where standard issue for AV in high school class rooms way back when. But I have since moved to Spain and I am having difficulties tracking down a similar model in the EU.
I tried a number of the work-arounds with voltage converters and adapters and local technicians but to no avail. I think there maybe a problem with the HZ conversion considering it is a motor which rotates the platter at different speeds.
