Some of you may have come across a copy of the Arena LP featuring some sweet jazz-funk cuts (The Long One has been comped before one Heading In The Right Direction). I've been talking to the songwriter and bandleader Ted White about his career......which as it turns out was much bigger than I first thought. He was cutting latin LP's in the UK in the 50's, playing for Robert Mitchum in London clubs and touring Europe with Maori soul groups all before settling in Australia and teaming up with Bruce Clarke for some great sessions including the Stratusphunk LP.

Anyways here's the link http://bit.ly/10Z6w8N - Hope you dig it.

P.S - There's also an interesting piece on the Railroad Gin LP too which is worth a listen if you're into groove oriented rock bands like Santana or Blood Sweat and Tears.
