    Change it up. Do a whole album as sample source. Invite people in to participate. It's not fair to the people who make beats to have 26 total votes and chirps in the thread. My two cents.

    I say hot buttered. It's gotta be something that is easy to get if you don't already have it.

    I was going to suggest the Sons of Champlin record. There's a break and lots of variety. And a beatnuts sample.

    cove's call. I think we've been doing songs that haven't interested people and people have been busy or something. I'm amazed at the enormous drop in participation over time. I'm hoping maybe a whole album will revitalize the beatoffs. I don't think Sons of Champlin is gonna light a fire under dudes' asses despite it being good. HBS or HH (reissue, mp3s, I don't give a what how you sample it). :puto:

    I don't own headless and mp3s are no bueno for me and my old set up. I've got hot buttered soul and I'm sure more people are in the same boat.

    I would really like having the entire HBS record be fair game. I have a lot of ideas with that. And in my opinion, it doesn't matter how many people throw their chips in. It's fun and that's that. It's not like this is some crucial, quadrennial race between two, and only two, similar factions competing over the approval of the entire planet or anything...
