Funk in Thailand & Malaysia

Hey guys,

I'm due to travel to SE Asia in a few months and I was wondering if anyone had any tips of clubs/venues in Bangkok/Chiang Mai/Phuket/Kuala Lumpur.

I have a few gigs lined up already in Saigon, Siem Reap, Melbourne & Sydney but have drawn a blank so far in those other places.

Any info greatly appreciated!
