I'm not saying all cops are bad, but they need to be held to a higher standard. Especially when it comes to breaking the laws they're sworn to uphold. Pipe dream, I know.
For the most part I feel cops get a bad rap.
One spoiler apple doesn't necessairiliy spoil the bunch.
The cop culture that supports, enables and protects these people means anyone on the force who witnesses and ignores this behaviour is complicit and responsible.
We are not talking about Dennis the Menace. They are not bad apples; they are liars, murderers, rapists, racists and power-hungry abusers who are not held accountable for their actions.

Shout out to the trolls btw.
yeah this is my basic feeling, too.
you can't be "X city's finest" and at the same time whine about how hard your job is, give 'em a break, etc.....
you have one of the most important jobs there is. you stand between order and chaos, normal people and psychos, you are in charge of enforcing some of the most basic and important laws (and upholding some of the people's most basic rights).
don't be lazy and/or a dick. do your job.
(problem is the type of people who go into law enforcement seem all to have been bullied in high school...)
