Fred Wesley and the New JB's

Are they worth seeing live nowadays? I got a ticket for Funkmasters approximately 7 years ago and thought they were ok at best.

Fred Wesley is playing in my town again soon with the New JB's and I'll probably attend regardless.

    Honestly, when i saw them last year, they sounded good but weren't particularly dynamic live except for maybe Stubblefield. The rest of the band were playing their instruments sitting on stools the entire time. Speaking as someone who sees a lot of reunited acts/bands from the 60s-80s, this may have been the only time I had been super aware the performers were old the entire set.
