I imagine this will be panned like crazy on here, but I'm enjoying it plenty. It's not groundbreaking in the least bit - shit, as much ground as these dudes have broken I'm willing to give them a pass - but it's got the feel of the early years. Gave it two run-throughs in the 2am AZ summer night with the windows down and moonroof open, swerving ever-so-slightly while banging. my. mother. f*cking. head.

If anything, Rick Rubin deserves praise for minimizing Ozzy's aged warble.

    Rick Rubin and Brad Wilk should not be allowed to work together, especially not on a Black Sabbath reunion project.

    I dug the first spin yesterday. It was fun to listen to a new Sabbath album. I was definitely not disappointed. My expectations were low, but the album exceeded them.
