    funny! i looked if any german football team achieved a triple yet. no! but leverkusen (incl. ballack)had a 2nd place triple once. champions league final, 2nd in the bundesliga and the national cup finals. poor ballack! what a horrible scenario for a player... i think he is one of the all-time best 2nd place finishers in the world of sports. including euros and world cups.
