As I was watching Lee "Scratch" Perry paint I pondered the question, does the Strut prefer Lee "Scratch" or Katy?

    I saw him twice and they were both great. Mad Professor on the board so that added a lot. He's eccentric and around for a long time so I'm sure there has been some bad show. Plus, you'd pay $85 to see Katy and it would be like a live episode of Glee.

    Obviously this thread is a joke but it's a little scary that 2 people have chosen Katy and seem serious.

    That's pretty funny. Hey he's old and smokes a shit ton of weed so I'm sure it happens. I don't doubt there have been plenty of bad shows. I happen to catch 2 really good ones so I know they are possible.

    Saw him live here a couple of years ago, he was having an angry day.

    guess the old adage:

    "Although I hit a pound of herbs I'm still nice with the verbs" D D

    doesn't apply for the over fifty set. But dammit if he isn't a living legend.

    Ha! Seen him three times over the years - entertainingly awful every time. The last time he didn't even get round to playing any music, just 20 minutes of ranting, and that was an improvement on the previous show I caught.

    I would go again.
