lee fields og check

hey dear strutters, need some help finding ut whether my copy of lee fields is the og or the identical repress. can somebody help me out? runout grooves or whatever.

well theres the Desco one, that was repressed/ 2nd pressed by Daptone.

thanks but i think this unofficial reissue is really 100% the same, labels etc.. my runout reads a3-4-28-77-b
if anyone has an og let me know what yours is.
if its a reissue its done extremly well i gotta say. cover is nice and thick.

edit: nevermind, there is after all a tiny differnce with the label.

it's really tough to tell. I think the only way to really know is by intuition. The reissue, despite heavy tip-on sleeve and brown inside, is still kind of stiff and new-feeling. But yeah, tough one.

The og has a deep groove like this



the re-ish does not. It's hard to find a good image on the net (sketchy) but you can see the difference in this pick

also the OG has more than just the matrix # in the deadwax. On one of the sides there is "DCHAPEL" etched in like a signature. I may not have the letters exactly right, it's kinda scrawled Also the wax will have light pitting in places due to the pressing quality, these dnap. The edge of the wax is sharp, don't know about the re-ish.

What's the early Lee Fields stuff like? I've only heard the recent stuff... Early work as good, better??

ok, my reissue (?) also has DCHAPEL etched in? Pretty sure its still a re due to the deepgroove.
